Rooms For Tourists

Rooms for Tourists is a photographic exploration of the Canadian mid-century motel. Shot over two years across five provinces, Rooms for Tourists visits the nostalgic roadside motel in present day, revealing the rise, fall & resurrection of a cultural icon.

My third solo exhibition, Rooms for Tourists debuted at the Alberta Exposure Photography Festival and the Scotiabank CONTACT Photography Festival in Toronto.

Au Vieux Fanal (second image) received a Gold Alberta Magazine Award in 2014 in the Landscape, Architecture & Still Life category.
